What are waterproof labels/stickers?

Apr 17, 2026 Leave a message

Waterproof labels are self-adhesive labels made with a special coating or material that effectively resists moisture, oil, and friction, and are commonly used for marking items in humid environments. Their core principle is the combination of an adhesive backing layer and a waterproof top layer, achieving long-lasting adhesion and preventing smudging. They are widely used in kitchens, laboratories, warehouses, and other similar settings.

Recently, while organizing the refrigerator, I found that regular sticky notes blurred and peeled off as soon as they got wet, which was a real headache. After switching to these large waterproof labels, the problem was finally solved! I hand-wrote the names and dates of each food container, and they remain clearly visible even in the freezer. They also peel off without leaving any residue. The color-coded categorization design makes it easy for the whole family to find what they need at a glance, even the kids can grab snacks themselves. They stick super firmly to spice bottles, storage boxes, and even children's water bottles, and they don't come off even after hand washing.
