These types of labels are widely used in daily life and business activities, such as product packaging, logistics tracking, and price tags. The ease of removal of easy-tear labels is mainly due to their special material selection and structural design.
Easy-tear labels typically consist of three parts: the face stock, the adhesive, and the backing paper. The face stock is the display layer of the label, determining its appearance and printing effect. Common face stock materials include coated paper, synthetic paper, and PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film. Coated paper is widely used for ordinary easy-tear labels due to its good printability and cost-effectiveness; while synthetic paper and PET film are more suitable for outdoor or harsh environment labeling applications due to their excellent water resistance, oil resistance, and tear resistance.
The adhesive is a crucial part of easy-tear labels, determining their adhesion and tearability. Easy-tear labels usually use removable adhesives, which provide sufficient adhesion during initial bonding to ensure the label adheres firmly to the surface of the object; and when it needs to be removed, it can be easily peeled off without leaving residue. There are many types of removable adhesives, including rubber-based, acrylic-based, and silicone-based adhesives, each with its unique properties and application scenarios.
