The backing paper is the support layer of an easy-tear label. Common backing paper materials include glassine paper and kraft paper. Glassine paper, due to its smooth surface and uniform density, ensures the label's flatness and tearability; while kraft paper, due to its higher strength and water resistance, is more suitable for label applications requiring a certain load-bearing capacity.
In addition to the above basic materials, easy-tear labels can also have other functional layers added according to specific needs, such as anti-counterfeiting layers and protective layers. Anti-counterfeiting layers can be achieved through special printing processes or materials to prevent the label from being counterfeited or tampered with; protective layers can provide additional water resistance, oil resistance, or abrasion resistance, extending the label's lifespan.
