Self-adhesive labels, also known as pressure-sensitive labels, are composite materials made of paper, film, or special materials as the face stock, coated with adhesive on the back, and with a silicone-coated release liner as the backing paper.
Their standard structure typically consists of three layers: a surface substrate (printed side), a release layer (silicone-based layer), and an adhesive layer. Compared to traditional labels, self-adhesive labels offer advantages such as no glue application, no pollution, quick application, and wide applicability.
